Machine Learning for a Changing World
Turning Data into Action
I am an Ecologist dedicated to translating complex environmental data into actionable insights. My work sits at the intersection of data, ecology, and climate science, with a specialized focus on forested ecosystems. By analyzing forest structure, composition, and carbon dynamics, I provide the evidence-based foundation needed for sustainable management and conservation.
Science in Action
It is my mission to bridge the gap between technical research and real-world implementation. That looks like building robust monitoring systems or shaping climate strategies. My goal is to solve complex environmental problems using geospatial tools and data-driven approaches.
Leadership & Inclusion
Beyond the pixels and polygons, I am a firm believer in the power of community. As a woman in STEM, I am committed to fostering inclusive spaces and mentoring the next generation of researchers. My contributions to research and leadership have been recognized through multiple awards, reflecting my dedication to both scientific excellence and service.
